Aviva Canada is announcing an industry first – overland water protection for residential property owners and tenants across Canada.
The Overland Water Protection Endorsement offers coverage that is not available in the existing ‘Sewer Back Up’ Endorsement.
This new endorsement covers damage caused by water that suddenly accumulates and enters your property during extreme weather events due to heavy rains, spring run-off or overflowing lakes and rivers.The Overland Water Protection Endorsement can be added to your existing policy for an additional cost based on where you live. We encourage you to speak to your broker to ensure there are no gaps in coverage in your current policy.
